Fall Looks Different on Florida's Gulf Coast

Fall Looks Different on Florida's Gulf Coast

Fall on Florida’s Gulf Coast doesn’t arrive with changing leaves or the first snowfall.

It looks more like mornings on the golf course. Football with a cold draft in hand. Dinner overlooking Charlotte Harbor. Rooftop nights beneath the palms. And a calendar that gives you plenty of reasons to spend a little more time outside.

At Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast, the season brings a different kind of fall getaway, one where cooler days meet waterfront views, seasonal events and plenty of ways to make the most of Southwest Florida.

Whether you’re planning a weekend escape or simply looking for something new to do this season, here’s what’s waiting along Charlotte Harbor.

Trade Sweater Weather for Waterfront Weather

By fall, Southwest Florida begins settling into one of the best times of year to spend outside.

The heat and humidity of summer gradually give way to more comfortable days, making it easier to linger by the water, dine outdoors, tee off for an afternoon round or simply slow down beside Charlotte Harbor.

And while much of the country is beginning to retreat indoors, fall on Florida’s Gulf Coast is an invitation to do the opposite.

Start the morning outside. Spend the afternoon by the pool. Stay for sunset.

No leaf peeping required.

Tee Off into Fall

If cooler mornings have you reaching for the golf clubs, fall is a perfect excuse to plan a golf getaway.

Located just minutes from the resort, Aileron Golf Club pairs championship-level golf with the natural beauty of Southwest Florida, creating a course experience that feels worlds away without taking you far from your room.

With Sunseeker’s Fairway Getaway, golfers can turn a round of golf into an overnight escape. The package includes a one-night minimum stay, 18 holes at Aileron Golf Club and $150 in combined dining credits to use across the resort and at Aviators Club, including breakfast for two before your round. Guests can also enjoy exclusive pro shop discounts, half-price club rentals and special replay rates during their stay.

Football Season Tastes Better Here

Fall also means football, and at The Stadium Club, game day comes with more than 40 HD screens and plenty of reasons to settle in for kickoff.

Throughout football season, fans can pair the action with game-day specials including $5 draft beer flights, $15 select draft pitchers, an Indiana Pork Sandwich, appetizer sampler platters and half or full racks of baby back ribs.

Bring the crew, find your game and stay a while.

And because we’re Sunseeker, football isn’t the only thing on the fall calendar.

Things Get Spooky at Level BOO

Halloween looks a little different from the rooftop.

On October 31, Level Blue Rooftop transforms into Level BOO for the Graveyard Rave, bringing Halloween to one of the resort’s most elevated settings.

Expect DJ-driven energy, chilling cocktails and a dance floor made for celebrating well into the night. Costumes encouraged, spooky season officially elevated. The Graveyard Rave is available for guests 21+.

Sip, Savor and Stay for the Jazz

Fall continues into November with one of Sunseeker’s biggest weekends of the season.

From November 5–7, Jazz Fest: Food & Wine Weekend brings three days of food, wine and live jazz throughout the resort. Thursday and Friday feature Wine Around experiences at participating restaurants and bars, while Saturday culminates in Serenade & Supper: A Jazzy Night, featuring a four-course plated dinner, paired wines and a headline performance by Danny Sinoff + the Stardust Memories Big Band.

And there’s even more happening nearby that weekend. The Florida International Air Show returns to Punta Gorda Airport November 7–8, making it an especially good excuse to turn a fall weekend into a Southwest Florida getaway.

Gather Around the Table

As fall turns toward the holidays, Thanksgiving brings another reason to gather along Charlotte Harbor.

On Thursday, November 26, Sunseeker’s Thanksgiving Brunch returns to the Great Egret Ballroom with waterfront views and a buffet featuring seasonal favorites, including slow-roasted turkey and made-to-order selections. Seating is available from 11 a.m. through 1:30 p.m., with reservations required.

And for guests making a holiday getaway out of it, Sunseeker’s Celebrate the Season offer includes a $100 resort credit with stays of three nights or longer between November 19 and January 5.

With Sunseeker’s Fall for Florida offer, there’s even more reason to trade traditional fall weather for a stay along Charlotte Harbor. Guests can enjoy up to 20% off their stay, a $50 resort credit, no resort fees and complimentary self-parking.

Your Fall, Gulf Coast Style

Maybe your perfect fall day starts with an early tee time. Maybe it’s football and wings, a rooftop Halloween party or an evening of food, wine and jazz.
