Spa & Salon Etiquette
Appointments
Your renewal begins with an appointment. A Spa Receptionist will coordinate a spa experience specifically for your needs. Please notify a Spa Receptionist before booking treatments if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure, physical ailments or disabilities. This will prepare our staff far in advance to provide the best possible spa treatment or therapy for you. You may request a specific gender or person for your massage therapist and/or aesthetician while booking an appointment. Gratuities are not included with any Spa or Salon treatments. Per Florida law, guests receiving massages must present a Government Issued Photo ID to ensure all information is correct. Failure to provide this will result in cancellation of service and subject to cancellation policy.
Facility Usage and Tours
At Lorelei Natural Beauty & Wellness, we proudly operate as a dry spa. For your comfort, we invite you to unwind in our cozy relaxation lounge while you await your services. We are pleased to offer robes to guests who are receiving multiple services throughout the day. To ensure the peaceful experience of all our guests, tours are available exclusively to spa guests.
Age Requirements
You must be 18 years of age to receive a Spa treatment and use the Spa facilities. If you are 17 years old or under, parental supervision is required when having any hair color or chemical service.
Guest Check-in
Guests must hold a reservation with an authorized credit card and show identification upon arrival. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For non-resort guests, please check in at the concierge desk upon arrival and retrieve an elevator key for Spa 3rd floor access.
Bridal Hair Services
It is recommended that you do not shampoo your hair when having an up-do. This will help your style last longer for your special occasion.
Shaving & Waxing
Shaving is not recommended before a Body Treatment or Men’s Facial. If you choose to shave, please shave at least eight hours prior to your service. Sun exposure is not recommended before or after any waxing service.
What to Wear During a Treatment
The Spa does not require any dress code. It is recommended during a Body Treatment or Massage that those treatments are enjoyed without clothing, although undergarments may be worn if preferred. Professional draping is performed throughout the duration of the service for privacy.
Service Charge
For your convenience, a 24% service charge will be added to all spa and salon treatments at time of checkout. Any additional gratuity for exceptional service will be at the guest’s discretion. Sunseeker Resort is a cash free property, please be prepared to charge to your room or credit card.
Color or Chemical Services
It is recommended that you do not wash your hair before any color or chemical service. This will help eliminate scalp irritation.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to other guests and our team, we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. Should you need to cancel your appointment we require 24 hours’ notice for individual appointments and 48 hours for packages and groups. Cancellations under the required time frame will result in a 50% charge of the service. No show appointments will be charged 100% of the service cost. If you cancel your hotel reservations, you are responsible for cancelling all services you have booked at the spa or salon separately.
