Ben Burgess, the Texas tune slinger, has undoubtedly left his mark on country music — co-writing Morgan Wallen’s biggest hit, “Whiskey Glasses,” BMI’s 2020 Song of the Year. But that’s not where he stopped. With songs cut by Lil Wayne, HARDY, ERNEST, Koe Wetzel, Jessie Murph, Shaboozey, Troye Sivan, Solon Holt, Cory Kent and Kashus Culpepper, the list goes on and on. Hailing from East Dallas — raised by a fireman and a city secretary — Burgess grew up in a home filled with music. Learning to sing harmonies in his father’s two-tone ’84 Chevy Silverado on the back roads of East Texas, he became a craftsman of the written word early. Now the author of two albums and a veteran of stages around the world, Burgess resides in Nashville, TN, where he spends his days writing songs and hanging out with his sweet, longtime neighborhood legend, Peggy Sue.

Marti Frederiksen, a native of Los Angeles, started his career as an artist playing drums, guitar and singing lead vocals in several signed alternative and rock bands in the 80s and 90s. Over those years in bands he stood out as a songwriter and producer, catching the attention of legendary A&R executive, John Kalodner, who introduced him to his now longtime collaborator, Aerosmith. He co-wrote and produced “Just Push Play” also giving him his first taste of worldwide songwriting success with “Jaded.” This paved the way for writing with Def Leppard and Mick Jagger, then producing “Cry” by Faith Hill, and working with Sheryl Crowe, Pink and Eminem.

He’s now an award-winning songwriter/producer crossing all genres with hits such as: Ozzy Osbourne’s “Dreamer,” “Sorry” by Buckcherry, “Love Remains the Same” by Gavin Rossdale, Carrie Underwood’s “Undo It” & “Mama’s Song,” and “Crawling Back to You” by Daughtry. Marti’s most recent #1 chart-topper was Ayron Jones’ “Mercy” on Big Machine which stayed #1 on the Billboard rock charts for 4 weeks in a row. Marti currently resides in Nashville where he continues to write, produce and perform. He is a lead singer for The Loving Mary Band, backing up artists like Gretchen Wilson and Steven Tyler.

Nashville native Summer Overstreet was raised on great songs. The daughter of Songwriters Hall of Fame songwriter Paul Overstreet, she grew up immersed in storytelling at the highest level — and has carved out a voice distinctly her own in today’s country landscape.

Overstreet has quickly become one of the genre’s most in-demand young writers, with songs recorded by artists including Tucker Wetmore (“3, 2, 1”), Hudson Westbrook (“Burning Love”), Max McNown (“Same Questions”), Graham Barham, Tyler Halverson (“Tiffany Blue”), Jenna Raine, and Jake Owen, among others.

In December 2025, she celebrated her first No. 1 as a co-writer on Wetmore’s “3, 2, 1,” which topped the country charts and cemented her arrival as a major creative force. Momentum has only accelerated into 2026 with Lainey Wilson’s current radio single Phone, Keys, Wallet featuring John Mayer. With a pen rooted in classic country craftsmanship and sharpened by a modern edge, Overstreet is proving that while great songwriting may run in the family — undeniable momentum is earned.
